Vaccines and other scarry things.

thumbnailCA4320VIRecently I was asked what holistic healers such a I feel about the flu vaccine for HlNl.  Well as a rule, I believe that flu shots are ineffective, and in my experience they have actually given me the flu.  I am rarely ill so I know it was the flu shot, not that I was already coming down with it.  If you have read any liturature at all on Vaccines, the things they put in them are often worse on the body than the diseases that they were ment to treat.  This vaccine, has been made in a hurry, and I fear messing around with the immune system as we do, we will be setting ourselves up to even stronger mutations of this flu.  As it is the flu symptoms are mild, and mostly can be fought off with many natural immune boosters.  We can head off even getting the flu just by taking care of our health, and perhaps taking some supplements.  From what I have been reading, there are a great many people who have reservations about this vaccine.  Frankly I think the drug companys are whipping up a bunch of fear, so they can make a killing(forgive the pun) by pedeling useless, and deadly vaccines.  This is my opinion, on Vaccines, and especially the H1N1 vaccine.

my daughter is a long time pharmacy tech at walgreens and has been an avid supporter of flu shots . this year especially she seems to be pushing harder for all of us to get one she talks about a couple types . i think a regular one and then one to combat this swine flu thing .

about l5 years ago i had another daughter that had a serious case of psorias aggravated by a flu shot .

my entire family other than the psoratic daughter has seemed to have had a good experience with flu shots .

i myself have stayed clear of them , but i do try to listen to any comment for or against .

the swine flu thing makes you wonder if you should the statistics and the details on this swine flu are somewhat scary .

i personally have some dry scalp and occasionally some psoratic type redness behind my left ear now and then . our family physician can’t seem to make up his mind whather it is psoriasis or eczema . the point here is the psoriasis and skin disorders is all traced to my fathers side of the family , and i think because of the psoriatic excelleration with the one daughter i am going to again stay away from flu shots .

the walgreens staff are really encouraging people that come in close contact with other people especially children really consider these flu shots. so the daughter that is a pharmacy tech is a flu shot advocate along with being a student teacher as a second career she is in close contact with all kinds of small children i m sure she will have her family take them

so in summary i have seen some good but i have really seen some adverse effects . the psoratic daughter has some serious excelleration in her case and has doctored ever since trying to keep this under control .

i am scared of the flu at 6l and i do always wonder if i should take a flu shot the pharmacies promote it , the gp’s promote it , but this psoriasis thing constantly overshadows any idea i have of getting one.

i really appreciate your thoughts on messing with ones immune system with flu shots . it helps generate further thought to not take a flu shot .

    thanks again for posting .

Thank you for the comment. Personally, I will not be getting a flu shot just like always. I will however, be extra diligent washing my hands, eating good food, and keeping my immune system at it’s peak. I have seen in the nursing homes I worked in, the flu increase after the flu shots were passed out indescriminantly. I blamed it on the flu shots, we lost many people every year and they said it was flu season, and blamed their impaired immune system, makes you wonder doesn’t it. Was it the flu shot, or was it that they were gonna get the flu anyways, and die, what did they need the flu shot for? Just questions I have no answers to.
